Save the Date: May 16th chapter meeting
We hope to see you for our next chapter meeting. In fact, bring a friend or a colleague, we love seeing new faces! We've got smart speakers and smarter efficiency programs on the mind for this meeting.
In the morning, we have two speakers sharing the stage to provide the key essentials to capturing Minnesota's potential for energy efficiency. Travis Hinck, GDS Associates, will talk about utility infrastructure efficiency and Jon Blaufuss, Center for Energy and Environment, will cover demand-side efficiency potential in Minnesota. Both of these speakers conducted their research on behalf of the MN Department of Commerce.
In the afternoon, we're talking smart speakers and home automation. Xcel Energy's Chad GIlhoi works on how to leverage the growth and excitement around smart speakers, and convert that into stronger customer relationships and possibly energy savings. He'll walk us through the future of these devices and how they can be the hub for integrating efficiency across the smart home.
We'll be meeting in Maple Grove at Great River Energy's headquarters. Their beautiful LEED Platinum building is a favorite location of ours. We're glad to be back.
We'll start at 11am, with registration starting at 10:30. As always, lunch is $20, if you pay for the three remaining 2019 meetings up-front the cost is $40.
RSVP to join us.
See you in May!
