AESP events impacted by Coronavirus/COVID-19

updated 4/22/2020

As we have all been witness to, the Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation has brought forward the need for a pro-active response to control its spread. To that end, AESP has come to the difficult decision to cancel our Spring Conference.  We will not be proceeding with our May 18-20, 2020 event in Jacksonville, FL.

In addition, AESP have rescheduled our upcoming "Certificate in DSM Program Management" cohorts  The original training classes have been postponed from March 16-19 to October 20-23 in Phoenix, AZ; and from.August 4-7 in Philadelphia to October 13-16 in Washington DC.

Similarly, AESP is rescheduling our upcoming "Certificate in Impact Evaluation" cohort. The cohort training class has been rescheduled from June 17-18 to October 26-27, still in Waltham, MA.

For Spring Conference attendees and exhibitors:
ยท    We have stopped taking registrations and will refund or reschedule those of you who have registered to attend and/or exhibit at the conference.

AESP is considering several options to help our members replace lost educational opportunities as a result of this development, including presenting the conference again at a later date or increasing the scope of the Summer Conference (September 1-3, 2020 in Philadelphia), as well as creating new, online, interactive training and professional development events that will allow learning to continue. Stay tuned for updates on these options and how to take advantage of them.

In the meantime, we invite you to participate in our upcoming AESP webinars --many of which are free for members and nonmembers alike.

AESP is a very open, caring association, with our members being our highest priority. While taking this action does indeed take away an opportunity for us to meet, network, exchange best practices and enjoy the environment of an AESP event, it is the prudent thing to do at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and also want to take advantage of this opportunity to thank you for your support and understanding.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Szaro
AESP President/CEO
