EE Financing – Options and Solutions
July 26, 2018 • 1 pm (ET)
As program implementers continue to push to achieve deeper savings, the cost to implement continue to increase. Financing programs are becoming increasingly important to the success of projects, enabling commercial and residential customers to move forward with more expensive projects. You will hear from four companies on EE financing solutions that can remove the financial barriers for both residential and commercial customers.
The webinar will start off with an overview of the PAYS program and then describe the differences between a PAYS offering and PACE or loan-based program. We will then hear about the Energize Kentucky program, how their Commercial PACE Financing can drive energy efficiency and help commercial building owners make their buildings more energy efficient, and the role of the PACE Financing Program Administrator.
After that, EFI will share some best practices and different financial models they are seeing in the market, such as utilities using some of their EE funding to buy down interest on traditional bank loans.
We will end the webinar with Sealed who will share their performance-based financing program for residential energy efficiency. They are working with Con Edison to integrate a first-ever performance-based incentive approach to achieve more savings, more cost effectively, with low risk.
You will leave this 90-minute webinar with a better understanding of EE financing and what is currently available to help you drive deeper efficiency projects.
