Recleim provides utilities a full-service appliance recycling program as part of their energy efficiency suite including call center and customer service support, incentive processing, marketing, IT/data tracking, and program management. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Recleim provides environmentally-sound recycling and resource recovery for refrigerators and other large appliances, while offering efficient and convenient disposal of these items when they are no longer wanted. Recleim terms itself a “de-manufacturer,” recovering approximately 95 percent of commodity components in the old appliances it recycles while disposing of hazardous chemicals and minimizing waste. Recleim is the only appliance recycling company in North America with this state-of-the-art technology, making Recleim the new standard in the recycling industry. We use a six-sigma approach for total quality management including internally developed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for customer service, cycle times, data quality, and safety. In addition to appliance recycling programs, Recleim is now offering a replacement program to help income-eligible customers replace old, inefficient refrigerators with new ENERGY STAR products.
