AESP’s a'la Carte Conference is serving up a completely different learning experience. Especially valuable for those who are new to the industry but also suitable for those who seek a holistic view of DSM. This course gives you a comprehensive and updated understanding of the landscape of energy efficiency, conservation and demand-side management including types of programs, and the economics, planning, design, implementation and evaluation of programs. Because competition, technology, policy, and DERs are driving rapid change, this course is valuable not only for providing a complete overview of DSM, but also as a refresher on the current state of the industry – with discussion on current technologies, challenges in evaluation, new business models and more.

This course is designed for those who develop energy efficiency and DSM programs. Ten hours of learning will be supplemented by interactive group activities and handouts to ensure retention of the information, put to practice the thought processes required, and not be bored!
