The Northwest Chapter of AESP provides a networking and educational forum for energy professionals. - Northwest Energy Trends: Trends in energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, evolving approaches to market intervention, and a changing Federal landscape.
- Evolving Products and Services: Customer behavior research guiding strategic market interventions for next generation HVAC.
The symposium will takes place Wednesday, April 19th from 12:00 – 5:00, with a reception from 5:00 – 6:00. Reservation is required by March 31. RSVP here. The event is free and includes lunch. Space is limited.

November Event: What’s all the buzz about energy use and recreational cannabis?
It’s been two years since Oregonians’ voted to follow in our northern neighbor’s footsteps and legalize recreational cannabis use. This week our southern neighbor along with Massachusetts, Nevada, and Maine also voted to legalize recreational cannabis use, indicating that the energy use profile of cannabis is likely to be of increasing interest in the coming years. There are many lessons to be learned from the Northwest on the energy impacts of recreational cannabis production.

2016 Home Performance Conference
We would like to announce the 5th annual Home Performance Conference! On Tuesday, November 1st from 8am – 6pm at the University of Oregon’s White Stag Block, the Home Performance Guild will host it’s 2016 edition of their annual Home Performance Conference. This year’s theme is Climate & Disaster Resilience. Organizers have put together such a strong lineup for this year’s event, that a 2nd track was cancelled in order to focus all attention on the plenary speakers.
