Background: The AESP National Energy Services Conference enters its 17 th year with an impressive track record of gathering the industry’s thought leaders to what has become a premier annual networking and educational event. Association of Energy Services Professional (AESP) members meet to exchange idea, learn about new marketing and energy efficiency programs and gain a thorough understanding of the changes and trends that will shape our industry in the years to come.

Agenda: Topics and speakers are selected through a rigorous call-for-paper process. Over 140 submissions were received last year.

Target Audience: In 2006, over 300 professionals attended this event, making it one of the largest gatherings of energy services professionals in the country. Attendees include:

  • Utility professionals working in marketing, customer service, energy efficiency, pricing,

  • forecasting, and program development and implementation.

  • Retail market players including energy service companies, power marketers/aggregators

  • Government policy makers and regulators

  • Industry advisors including consultants, marketing communications firms, market

  • researchers, technology firms and others.

Location: New home to the World Series of Poker, the Rio is an all suites hotel that occupies a prime location just off the strip and near The Palms.

2006 Conference Sponsors and Expo Exhibitors. US EPA-ENERGY STAR, NYSERDA, Kansas City Power and Light, San Diego Gas and Electric and Southern California Edison co-sponsored the conference in 2006. Par3 Communications hosts the AESP Awards Luncheon and Itron hosts the Wednesday Breakfast. Again this year, Lockheed Martin Aspen sponsors the registration packets and Summit Blue Consulting sponsors the badge holders/lanyards. Exposition Exhibitor Opportunities

About 25 exhibit spaces will be interspersed with refreshments during key activities. These will include:

  • Evening reception with open/hosted bar and "heavy" hors d’oeurves

  • Breakfast buffet with hot and cold items

  • Luncheon with international food stations serving "finger food" and limited seating

  • Structured networking exercise with a grand prize drawing

For $4,500 ($2,500 to group members or corporate sponsors*), exhibitors will receive:
