The Midwest Chapter of AESP works to promote the professional advancement of persons employed in, residing in or associated with energy services programs in the Midwest. Our membership meets quarterly to hear educational presentations related to the industry, network with peers, and stay in touch with what is happening at the AESP national level. The Chapter also distributes a quarterly newsletter with informative articles about energy efficiency, renewable energy, and other topics vital to our membership.

At the MN Municipal Utility Association's (MMUA) in Plymouth, MN
Our presenters include Brian Ross from the Great Plains Institute talking about the DOE Solar Pathway's initiative to meet MN's goal of 10% solar by 2030 given grid and resource mix constraints, and Carl Samuelson from Michaels Energy presenting on unlocking commercial behavior change with energy information systems. Plus, we'll get a brief legislative outlook from Bill Black at MMUA.
MMUA is located at 3025 Harbor Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55447. We will meet on the 4th floor.

The next AESP Midwest Chapter meeting will be held in Rochester on Thursday, June 29th from 10:30 am - 2 pm. Speakers include Kevin Bright to talk about the energy efficiency elements of Rochester's Destination Medical Center Project, and Seventhwave to talk about some of their recent research. Science Museum of Minnesota
The next AESP Midwest Chapter meeting will be held in Saint Paul on March 15th at the Minnesota Science Museum. Plan on our regular 11am - 2pm schedule, plus as a perk of meeting at the museum, we can all explore the exhibits after the meeting for free. We're excited to learn about the Science Museum's awesome achievements in energy efficiency and hear from Anthony Fryer from the Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources.
